Happy New Years everyone! We've been on vacation Las Vegas for the last week - what a great trip - and we actually came out ahead as far as the gambling thing goes! Saw some amazing shows but have a lot to do right now as I start classes tomorrow (despite the rest of the country still being on holiday ..grr) so I will write a big post in a few days if everything goes to plan. Happy new year bro!!!!
Nothing major happened in Kuwait. Even though they don't celebrate it they had a day off and even though fireworks are illegal here, there were also an awfull lot of them everywhere!!!!
Looks like we are going to be on the move again soon so will keep you posted!

Happy New Year Nereus & IceQueen! Do you ever feel like the only people who really visit your site anymore are the farkin' spammers?
OH... I almost forgot to metion this movie to both of you because when I went and saw it with a college buddy of mine (we were all scared out of our minds) I immediately wanted to let you and Ice know about it. The movie is Wolf Creek and is based out of Australia (I know it isn't New Zealand but it references the beaches and surfing in the beginning) and it is apparently (depending on which site you visit) based on some ongoing murder cases in Australia. IT IS F'IN SCAREY and you will not be able to sit still. I promise this is a must see.

Not 100% sure where we are off to yet. Max has been shortlisted and is hopeful to get a vacancy in Mumbai... but we'll see. Both boys have been pretty sick, so am just keen to get outta of here... it's very boring and very expensive.
Anyway, I'll keep you posted! XX :P

Narnia... I read all of them, Silver Chair, Prince Caspian, etc. I also read one of CS Lewis's more adult books, The Screwtape Letters.. pretty funny sections. If you haven't read it, check it out... it isn't real thick. I want to see Narnia too... good idea actually. Maybe I will go see it this weekend.

James! Holy crap! How are you? What are you doing in Beijing of all places? Last I heard Cushla and you had headed off to the UK I think - quite a while ago now. This is really bizarre - I was actually thinking about you and Cushla earlier today because there was a girl in one of my exams this morning (university) that looked quite a lot like Cushla - even the hair was the same as Cushla had it when at Telecom.. when it was black, not blue :) Mich (who commented above) is also a t/com escapee - currently living in Kuwait. Dunno if you were there at t/com at the same time or not - Michelle Blackford she was then. I guess you figured out I'm living in NYC and I'm now a full-time student here. Who woulda thunk? hopefully you'll return to this site and read this and keep in touch. Big hug to Cushla from me too!
