We both had a bad day today. Mine relates to work. I won't go into details right now because I'm just too pissed. Suffice to say if someone tried to mug me right now I would friggin kill them. But I'd make them suffer first. Badly. Grrr.

Hey. I share your sentiments. I just flew into Houston Wednesday. My gandmother on my Mom's side passed away, and I have been all over the state of Texas and back. I am tired of people leaving this earth and more importantly I am sick of being too far away to really feel like I have some damn closure. I am sick of the East coast, and when shit screws up in my life, work, etc. it just reminds me of that blatant fact even more. Then again, I tend to react to just about everything with anger... but Wednesday it was worse.
Hope whatever stupidity your co-workers are pulling with you stops... if not, I hope you have a chance to seriously let them know they're on yer shit list. At the very least it is cathartic for you. :)

Thanks, no worries with work mates though, it's a few of the company policies that pissed me off.. contradict themselves, inflexible etc etc.. seems to be a standard in US business though from what I've experienced so far.

Of course. In the United States, everything from corporate policies to federal statutes are as contradictory to themselves as the Bible.

I hope the situation gets resolved.

you guys are lucky! My problems are with my boss and my manager.
My boss is immature and my manager is such an apple-polisher...they probably dislike me as well...i just can't wait to get sacked...they aren't doing that now coz i'm doing most of their shit-work! All they do is talk, talk, talk...yabba-yabba-here, yabba-yabba-there.

heh.. heavily religious people (that I've known personally) are more full of contradictions than anyone else I know. They're usually totally blind to it as well.

c'mon, where's my freedom of expression/speech?!
it's not an understatement to say that work equals shit.
Here's a metaphor for you:
Imagine a long river populated by several village households stretching from one end to the other. Now people in those villages would bathe and do their 'daily natural businesses' in that same river. Now imagine that you're at the lower end of the river. Shit from those 'daily natural businesses' will flow from the upper-tier of the river to the mid-tier of the river. That's okay for the mid-tier villagers coz not many people live in the upper-tiers. Now, shit from these two tiers would lump together, accumulate, pile up, stick together and flow downwards to the lower-tiers. Imagine bathing in the river one fine day and confusing soap with 'you-know-what'.

man, i use the word 'shit' like i use the word 'faeces'...
